Confidential 130m+ project: Digitally pre-cut PPF applied to large stainless owner/crew galleys, extraction units, laundry, mess & fridges for a hygienic finish.
This vessel came to us during construction, having been referred by the management team following the successful completion of a previous project on a yacht of similar size.
We were formally commissioned during the handover phase to wrap the owner and crew galleys, along with an additional bridge-deck galley. These galleys were larger than those on comparable vessels and constructed entirely in stainless steel, featuring substantial extraction units that required wrapping both internally and externally to ensure complete protection and hygienic integrity.
Given the scale and complexity of the installation, we elected to digitally template and precision pre-cut every panel on site, mobilising our digital plotter and operator to produce templates in real time. This approach enabled an exceptionally accurate, factory-level finish — a world first in galley PPF wrapping applications, where materials are typically hand-cut during installation.
In addition to the galleys, we wrapped all laundry equipment, laundry rooms, crew and staff mess surfaces, refrigeration units, and other high-touch operational areas, delivering comprehensive surface protection across key service spaces.
In line with management’s requirement for discretion, the yacht’s identity is intentionally kept private.
