LuxWrap wrapped a 43m Heesen in metallic white vinyl — the largest in-water hull wrap of its time. Later unwrapped and rewrapped, proving full flexibility.

We were approached by the management team of this 43m Heesen, whose paintwork was looking tired. The owner wanted a fresh new look without the disruption and downtime of repainting. After exploring the options, we agreed on a sparkling metallic white vinyl finish.

This became our first 'large' in-water hull installation, and at the time, we believe it was the largest ever carried out without any infrastructure beyond a floating raft. As always, our team rose to the challenge and executed the project flawlessly. The wrap remained in place for around three years before the owner requested a refresh, at which point we unwrapped the hull and re-wrapped it in a slightly different metallic white.

To this day the project stands as clear proof that yachts can be wrapped, unwrapped, and re-wrapped — all without ever leaving the water.
